Three-quarters of the world’s major conflicts have a cultural dimension. Bridging the gap between cultures is urgent and necessary for peace, stability and development. Keeping this idea in mind, Suchitra Academy participated in the World Day for Cultural Diversity for Dialogue and Development on Thursday, 21st May, organized by AFS India. Four schools represented the cultural heritage of their respective states – Nainital, Punjab,
Gujarat and Telangana on the virtual platform. The idea of knowing, learning and marvelling at the unity in diversity of India was achieved. This interactive session not only reminded us of the rich cultural heritage that we share but also ignited the zeal to be sensitive, appreciate and respect the diversity that we are blessed with. Manas Nain and Chhavi Ojha of Grade IX and Haribol Upadhyay of Grade VIII made us proud with their excellent performance at this cultural extravaganza.
