Red Letter Day
On Monday, 30th September- Red Letter day- 66 students from Grades VI-XII accompanied by 7 teachers made their way to Kerala, the land of high mountains, gorges and deep-cut valleys, lush and evergreen rain forests, coconut palms and backwaters.
The group visited Cochin, Munnar, Alleppey, Kovalam and Thiruvanthpuram. The Dutch palace, the Jewish synagogue, a spice garden, a tea factory were some of the sights that caught their attention while the wonderful cruise in the backwaters on a house boat in Alleppey and finally the time spent on Kovalam beach were the highlights. A wonderful, unforgettable trip because every time you travel, you learn so much, opening your mind and heart to landscapes and people and that is just what this trip did for all the travellers!
