PUT ON YOUR HEADPHONES
Music is good for English learners, since it stresses on many aspects of language that can otherwise be hard to isolate. Keeping this in mind, students of Grades IX upwards were asked to choose some English songs to listen to for homework and practise the lyrics to learn intonation and rhythm. They had to note slang and cultural references used in the songs. This was followed by drawing a picture of what the music made them feel and what a particular song means to them.
