MAKING PEACE! INTERACTION WITH Cdr. JAMES JOHN
Stage 4 Cambridge learners had an opportunity to interact with Cdr James John from the Indian Navy. Their research topic is ‘Making Peace”. They had a series of classroom interactions to understand conflicts and the importance of making peace. This interaction further helped them to appreciate the significance of making peace. Cdr James John stressed on four steps which makes a major difference when making peace at any level.
1.Stop reacting, but think
- Don’t use words that hurt others
- Listen
- Sit and talk.
Citing various examples of conflicts around the world, the distress and destruction as the aftermath, every citizen should vouch for peace. We hope that our little learners of today will be the leaders tomorrow thriving to make peace and make this world a better place to live.
