AN ART TEACHER’S PERSPECTIVE
The past few months have been a challenge for all of us- students as well teachers.
For teachers particularly, to hold the interest of the children has been a definite challenge. It is easy for children to lose interest as they are in their comfort zone with their gadgets and the environment at home.
But as teachers, it’s our job to provide interesting activities to improve learning. For me working online was a completely new thing. I learned so many new techniques and finally got a good grip of technology through the internet. I kept searching for new topics and ideas to keep myself motivated to learn and teach. I always think from the student”s perspective and try to include not only my students, but their parents too in interesting art activities to motivate them as much as possible.
So, while the COVID lockdown is not the ideal situation, it did help us explore new frontiers!
