A CHALLENGING COMPETITION!
Sciensation’s Socratic Dialogue was truly an amazing and enriching session. We were able to learn and understand various concepts and processes such as CTOs, lean development, productizing, first principles reasoning and so on. My classmates, Saanvi and Hariharan and I were in one group. In the first round, we were given a questionnaire. We brainstormed for hours, thinking of startup ideas we were asked to imagine, which we then submitted. After submitting our answers, we were shortlisted for an interview. It went amazingly well and we were the first team to be selected for the debate rounds. We had to pass through 3 rounds in which both we and the opposing teams had to present their ideas which were then debated on. We were asked questions by the other team, the audience and the jury members before we reached The Grand Finale. This round for me was the highlight of the entire competition, it felt like an India-Pakistan Match as the other team belonged to City School, Karachi, Pakistan. This round was longer than the others and jury questions were extremely difficult, however our team prevailed.
