30th October,2020, Pre Primary celebrated Halloween.
Since Suchitra Academy has a large cultural mix of people from across the world we believe in celebrating all festivals with fervor.Sr KG children got into the spirit of Halloween and sent shivers down the spine dressed up as witches flying on broomsticks, black cats, ghosts, goblins and skeletons showing off their jack-o-lanterns, skulls, pumpkins and spoke about what they were dressed up as. They even tried to scare the teachers (once in a life time opportunity that every child craves for). They enjoyed the spooky story of moonlight –A black cat. They danced and made merry eating sweets they had in their own treat bags.
Jr.Kg children made merry, making the pumpkin craft and dancing to the tune of
five pumpkin songs. They dressed up as Batman, Superman, Krish and even as pumpkins too. The cutest little devils were in Nurserydancing to the tune of their own, managing their costumes and catching up with the beat at the same time. The cute fingers dabbed away on the pumpkins. We believe that celebrating different festivals inculcates the acceptance of cultural diversity in children from a young age.
