10th September -2020 students of Grades VIII and IX had an training session to deal with emergency medical situations by Mr.Devedar Karabu,GVK EMRI.
First aid training equips to deal with emergency medical situations life throws at you, to which you can respond effectively. On 10th September 2020 students of Grades VIII and IX were a keen audience to a guest lecture by Mr.Devedar Karabu, assistant manager, Clinical Instructor, SPOC Active Bleeding Control Project at GVK EMRI. He enlightened students on the various techniques to save a life by using simple acronyms called DR CAB & RICE. The students learned various techniques of saving people in case of an emergency like bleeding, burns, breathlessness, fainting etc., The Q&A session cleared several doubts that the students had, making the session more effective, meaningful with well-learned outcomes.
